Dennis Glasco has been an actor on theater
stage
and on camera for over 18 years. He has been teaching on camera acting,
privately and in classrooms, throughout Sacramento and the Bay Area, to
both kids and adults, for the past 7 years. Many of Dennis' students
have signed with major agencies in San Francisco and Los Angeles and are
appearing in commercials, movies, and on television. Some of Dennis'
acting credits include national and local commercials such as JB Oxford,
Roseville Auto Mall, Clark Pest Control, and is the Coit Carpet Cleaning
Man. He has been a principal actor in many industrial videos including
a recent one with famed actor, John Cleese. Dennis has been seen in
print ads for Palm Computers and KC Masterpiece, and he has appeared on
TV’s “Nash Bridges.” He has landed lead roles in several independent
film projects such as the “Black Forest” film trailer and stars in the
movie short “Walk The Walk,” which premiered at the 2002 Sacramento Film
Festival.
In
addition to acting, Dennis is also a musician, playing lead guitar,
touring and releasing a CD for the Christian rock band “ledfoot.”
In
coaching actors, Dennis is able to teach the things actors need to know,
not just from the actor’s perspective, but also from the other side of
the lens. Dennis works as a session director at auditions, putting
actors on camera for some of the biggest casting directors throughout
the Bay Area. Dennis’ experience working with decision making clients is
invaluable. He has a unique perspective to share which can help any
actor, whether they are just getting started or have years under their
belt. Dennis has helped in the casting of commercials for McDonald’s,
Nike, Johnson & Johnson, E*Trade, Round Table Pizza, and many, many
others.
If
that wasn’t enough, Dennis also works behind the camera as a DP and
editor of many local projects. He utilizes this knowledge and training
to help maximize the auditioning potential of his students. He is often
behind the camera in casting sessions for casting directors all over
northern California. So he teaches the audition process with experience
and knowledge from many viewpoints…
